This book took me a little while to get into only because I didnt like how April was so desprite to belong she lowered her own self worth to try to be a Lipstick Lawlord. You see her true self breaking threw as you read the book. She struggles with exceptance as all teenagers do, but the beauty is finding out you dont need to try so hard to belong as long as you are true to yourself. I was extremely proud of her by the end of the book!!!!! All in all great story about growing up and truly seeing people for what they are.

What an imagination the writer has!!!! Love the idea of "Chocolate mafia" Great story line and super cool characters. Loved the idea of dementia grandma who was responsible for taking care of everyone, on paper that is. When realistically it was Anya. Love the the russian background, very clever. I hope to be reading more from this story line soon. Really a great book will recommend to all my friends

This was my first Zombie book, and definitely not my last!!! Love how Temple is the oldest 15 year old ever, Love how she handles herself with life. She's not bitter but powerful. She expects the bad to happen so she is always prepared. Such a creative story. My only issues with this story was the ending. Looking back I know it had to end that way, but I wasn't expecting it and definitely wasn't ready. I cant wait the second book to come out. I want to read more!!!
